Ricky Mills (WJ CEO)
Ricky W. Mills Jr. is the Founder and CEO of WILD Jaeger, LLC. A 100% US Veteran Owned small business based out of New Jersey, USA. Ricky’s partner in WILD Jaeger is John MacCallum, a childhood friend from Elbridge, New York.
Ricky grew up in Central New York. He was introduced to hunting by his father, Rick Mills Sr., and then his Grandfather, Robert O’Connor. Ricky recovered his first deer at the age of 15 and has been a dedicated hunter since.
Ricky has over 32 years of hunting experience in the United States and Europe.
Particular to Ricky’s passion for hunting is his diverse background in working and hunting in various terrains and adverse weather conditions all over the world. Ricky has travelled the globe and been exposed to, and challenged himself in, everything from the grassy plains, open pines and rolling hills of the United States to the dry harsh deserts of Africa, the artic cold of Norway and the wet, humid and mucky swamps of Panama, South America.

Ricky enjoys mentoring both youth and adult hunters. Ricky strives to learn something new every time he heads to the woods. One of Ricky’s favorite mottos is, “As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another!”. He gets more enjoyment from watching a youth or friend shoot their first deer or turkey. Ricky enjoys fostering the spirit of outdoor adventure that he believes is a large part of being a hunter and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Ricky believes that it is that passion for the outdoors, and the habitat, that is the future of hunting.
A registered Wounded Warrior himself, Ricky likes to teach, coach, mentor and train Wounded Warriors (veterans that have returned home from combat with the physical and mental scars from their experiences). Ricky also believes in the healing power of nature and emursing one’s self in something the person is passionate about. Hunting is one of those things! Ricky uses WILD Jaeger as a medium to expose himself to as many Warriors that he can positively affect as possible. Ricky’s personal goal is to raise multinational awareness about Wounded Warrior activities and to encourage participation at all levels within partner nations that are fighting in the Global War on Terrorism.
