Trent McCall (New York)
Trent was raised on a dairy farm in Truxton, New York. He learned to hunt deer and small game from his older brother. His oldest brother took him along on hunts well before he was old enough to hunt on his own. Trent enjoys the camaraderie of a good old fashion deer hunt, but his favorite time in the WILD happens early on spring mornings .

His favorite hunt is Spring Turkey hunting with one of his own, hand made, box turkey calls. He is a self taught turkey hunter and enjoys nothing more about hunting than when he brings the woods alive with the thunderous gobble from a long beard looking for a mate.
Trent’s favorite gun is an Ithaca deer slayer that his father purchased used for 75$ well before he was born . It’s the only gun he has ever used to hunt deer with (including his 132 inch Boone and Crocket 10 point). For turkey he uses his Mossberg 835 with a super full choke. He has hunted only in New York state, with most of his hunts on a 200 acre plot of land directly out the back door of his house.

Trent works as a custom carpenter / cabinet maker and his love of turkey hunting has been combined in the art of making custom wooden box calls.
Trent enjoys fishing, when he is not hunting, and has fished in the Gulf of Mexico, Naples back water, Islamorada and the Florida Keys. He has fished for grouper, red fish and dolphin (mahi-mahi).
Trent is the Owner/Operator of Four Leaf Custom Calls, a small business out of New York that makes hand made wooden turkey box calls.
Trent believes that, “No matter the game, the closer the better”.
